Art & Craft Skills Training Program is a hands-on vocational initiative that equips refugees and vulnerable youth in Uganda with marketable skills in creative design and craftsmanship. Through training in handbag making, shoe production, and other artisanal crafts, participants gain the tools to build sustainable livelihoods and foster community resilience.
Program Objectives
Vocational Training in Creative Arts: Participants learn practical techniques in crafting high-demand items such as handbags, shoes, and accessories.
Entrepreneurship & Business Development: Graduates are empowered to launch their own craft-based businesses or join local artisan cooperatives.
Economic Empowerment: The program promotes financial independence by turning creativity into income.
Social Integration & Confidence Building: Shared learning environments foster unity between refugees and host communities while boosting self-esteem and purpose.
